Back in 2011 we started designing a revolutionary fully redundant RC helicopter platform. 3 years later our first product came in the market! The Velos 880 is the first RC helicopter to incorporate a dual motor gearbox and an innovative rotor system resulting in unprecedented performance and agility.

The Velos runs on a unique “Twin” electric power system, and utilizes an innovative sprague clutch system to sync the two drive systems, while providing “single motor out” redundancy. This machine is all CNC and Carbon, and is very light but simultaneously very solid. The Velos 880 was an Ultra Efficient UAV capable of carrying huge payloads and sensors.

Velos discontinued this model but transferred the core twin engine design and the knowledge derived from thousands of hours of flight to the current Velos UAV and UAV POR with significant innovative additions.
