Velos V3 Supports Environmental Monitoring at Major U.S. Ports

Velos Rotors recently supported an environmental monitoring operation conducted in collaboration with the U.S. Coast Guard and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) at the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach. During the deployment, a Velos V3 unmanned helicopter equipped with Aeromon’s precision air quality sensors and the Gremsy VIO F1 thermal camera collected accurate, high-resolution environmental data in real time, providing operators with valuable insights into air quality conditions across the monitored area during both daytime and nighttime flights. The project highlighted the growing role of unmanned helicopter systems in environmental inspection and emissions monitoring applications.
