Velos Rotors recently participated in a successful flight demonstration in collaboration with UMag Solutions, showcasing the integration of the Velos V3 unmanned helicopter with the V2Mag magnetometer system and UMagMission software. During the deployment, the integrated solution successfully demonstrated its capability to perform high-precision magnetic surveys for the detection of land and naval mines, unexploded ordnance (UXO), and other subsurface metallic objects. The project highlighted the growing role of UAV technology in advancing magnetic surveying applications across the defense, offshore, and geophysical sectors.
