Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Ardupilot Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our team. The Ardupilot SME will be responsible for providing technical expertise and guidance related to Ardupilot software and hardware, collaborating with our engineering and product management teams. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and experience with Ardupilot, including configuration, customization, and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary technical expert for Ardupilot software and hardware within the company
• Collaborate with engineering and product management teams to provide technical input and feedback for product development related to Ardupilot
• Configure, customize, and troubleshoot Ardupilot software and hardware for specific customer applications
• Develop and deliver technical training and support materials on the use and maintenance of Ardupilot to customers and internal teams
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to Ardupilot and UAS systems
• Conduct testing and validation of Ardupilot software and hardware to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and product specifications
• Maintain accurate documentation and records for all Ardupilot-related activities

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or related field
• 5+ years of experience working with Ardupilot, including configuration, customization, and troubleshooting
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues related to Ardupilot
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide technical expertise to customers
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with the flexibility and adaptability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
• In-depth knowledge of Ardupilot software and hardware, including configuration, customization, and troubleshooting
• Experience with UAS systems and related technologies preferred
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken
