Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director, Business Development and Operations (Chief Pilot) to lead the strategic planning and execution of all flight operations and business development initiatives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day flight operations, managing a team of pilots and support staff, optimizing operational efficiencies, and driving overall growth and profitability for the company. This position requires travel up to 35% to 70% of the time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement business strategies, plans, and procedures that support the company’s overall strategic goals and objectives
• Oversee all flight operations and manage a team of pilots and support staff to ensure maximum efficiency and safety
• Drive revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, partnerships, and potential markets within the aviation industry
• Work closely with the CEO to develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting
• Lead the company’s efforts to establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and partners
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry standards, including FAA Part 107
• Manage and maintain aircraft, equipment, and facilities to ensure safe and efficient operations

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in aviation, business administration, or related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered
• FAA Part 107 certification required
• Proven track record of success in a senior leadership role within the aviation industry, preferably as a chief pilot, director of operations, or director of business development
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities
• Ability to work remotely and travel up to 35% to 70% of the time
• In-depth knowledge of business operations, financial management, and market trends within the aviation industry
• Experience working in a highly regulated industry preferred
