Reports To: Director of Field Services

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Field Service Representative for Drone Application and Demonstration to join our team in Hollywood, MD. The Field Service Representative will be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting, and repair services for our unmanned aircraft systems (UAS), with a focus on drone applications and demonstration. The ideal candidate will have experience with UAS, drone applications, and related technologies, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for UAS and drone applications, both remotely and on-site
• Perform repairs and maintenance on UAS and related equipment, both in-house and on-site
• Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering and product management, to provide customer feedback and input for product development related to drone applications
• Develop and deliver technical training and support materials for customers and internal teams on the use and maintenance of UAS and related equipment for drone applications and demonstration
• Conduct product demonstrations and support application-specific flights for customers
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies related to UAS and drone applications to inform business decisions
• Maintain accurate documentation and records for all services and repairs performed
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners

Requirements:

• FAA Part 107 certification required
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in electronics, aviation technology, or related field preferred
• 2+ years of experience in technical support or field service roles, preferably in the UAS or aviation industry
• Experience with UAS, drone applications, and related technologies, including hardware and software
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide technical support, troubleshooting, and conduct product demonstrations
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with the flexibility and adaptability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
• In-depth knowledge of service processes, techniques, and methodologies
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, both domestically and internationally
