At Velos Rotors, we strive to create an environment where interns can immerse themselves in cutting-edge projects and make a tangible impact. Yasmine, a Yale University student majoring in physics and mechanical engineering, is one such example. Drawn to Velos by our global presence and reputation for innovation, Yasmine spent her time with us working on several exciting and high-tech projects.
One of Yasmine’s key contributions was creating comprehensive instruction manuals for our UAV kits, helping to improve communication between our teams in Greece and the United States. Her ability to take initiative and solve complex problems reflect Velos Rotors’ culture, which encourages employees and interns alike to take ownership of their work.
Yasmine was particularly inspired by the innovation and R&D efforts at Velos, which aligned with her passion for hands-on learning and technology. “I’m really product minded. The Velos V3 was high tech and the innovations on it were fascinating,” she said. Yasmine’s role also involved using CAD software and gaining experience in design, electronics, and mechanical engineering, skills that she continues to use in her academic and professional career.
Looking back at her time with Velos Rotors, Yasmine emphasized the supportive and collaborative nature of the team. “Everyone’s voice is heard here. The company culture allows you to take initiative, and I really felt like I contributed,” she explained. Yasmine’s work on the instruction manuals not only solved a critical issue but also left a lasting impact on how Velos UAV kits are assembled and communicated across teams.
For those considering an internship at Velos Rotors, Yasmine’s experience highlights the company’s commitment to giving interns a hands-on, meaningful role in groundbreaking projects. “Velos is very good with innovation, and the new projects here are extremely interesting compared to other things in the market.”
If you’re interested in a career where your contributions matter and your voice is heard, consider joining Velos Rotors. Whether you’re looking to gain real-world experience as an intern or contribute to our innovative team full-time, we are always looking for bright, hardworking individuals like Yasmine.
